The players are showing off their football skills on the field, while parents cheer them on from the sidelines. After last weekend’s rain-soaked delay, the Victory League finally made its long-awaited return in the Taipei District yesterday, marking the start of its 11th season.
We are happy to announce that we have 275 teams signed up for the 2024/25 season of the Victory League. Once again games will take place in Taipei, Hsinchu, Taichung and Kaohsiung and we cannot wait to get the season started! We are working on the fixtures and they will be released very soon. The 2023-2024 Victory League National Finals for the Championship Division were held on May 18-19 at the Nanzih Football Stadium in Kaohsiung. After two days of fierce competition, the top three teams in each group emerged victorious. We are delighted to unveil our revised information pack for the 2024/25 Season of the Nationwide Victory League. This updated document supersedes all previous versions.
In this edition, we are excited to introduce the U14 category, which will now feature the full-sized 11v11 format of the game.
The selection process this time has been a tough challenge for the ten evaluating coaches, given the fine margins between these talented players. We encourage the sixteen players who weren't selected to remember the advice from Peter Kennedy, coach at Glasgow Rangers Football Club, and to continue their football journey with the same intent and passion.
The Victory League is currently holding Gothia Cup trials for 12 talented players to represent The Victory League and Taiwan at the World Youth Cup. The trials are at Kaohsiung Nazhih Football Stadium where 157 players are vying for 28 spots, with final selections made by Peter Kennedy of from Scottish giants Rangers FC and 8 local coaches.
Youth soccer has seen an upsurge in popularity all across the nation, from parents signing up their children for fun kick-about games to improved academy programs, while Taipei has the inclusive Victory League in which boys and girls engage in a season-long competition with the chance of winning trophies.
We are excited to share the great news with you that the Victory League has managed to secure the funding to send a team of U12 players the Gothia Cup in Sweden in July of 2024. The full project is outlined in the presentation that can be seen by following the link below and if you would like your child to join the open trials for the team on March 16th, 17th and 18th then please fill out the registration form that can also be seen below. Places are limited for the trial so please register quickly to avoid disappointment.
Commencing from next season (September 2024), the Victory League aims to enhance player participation by introducing the following changes:
Introducing U6, U16, and U18 age categories, expanding the Victory League to include U6, U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, U18, encompassing a total of seven age groups.

On Thursday morning, representatives from the Victory League committee traveled to Taichung to meet with their official partner, Molten. During the visit, we outlined the Victory League's strategic plans for 2024-2025. Additionally, we toured the Molten Facilities in Lu-Gang, engaging in discussions about the upcoming Victory League events.

The vibrant sports activities taking place in Taichung on Sunday, November 26th, involving U12 and U10 matches at the Chao Ma Football Pitch. The simultaneous Lele baseball game on the other side of the pitch adds even more excitement to the sporting event.
Witnessing children engage in various sports and giving their all is truly a testament to the beauty and positive impact of sports.
